Cheese Featured on the Farmstead Canadian Platter Include;
- 1608: The year the first cows were brought from France to Canada. Now recognised as the “Canadienne” breed. semi-firm, washed-rind cheese made from thermalized cow’s milk, aged 2 months
- Aged Farmhouse: a firm, grass-fed cow’s milk, naturally raised in the Pacific rain soaked region of Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, B.C.
- Tuyau de Poêle (stovepipe) has a gray, slightly flowery ash rind and a very white paste with a creamy and crumbly texture. Its aromas of fresh goat's milk reveal moderately spicy, lactic, slightly salty and delicately tart flavors.
- Blue D’Elizabeth: A house favorite we often describe as the “Blue Cheese for non-blue cheese eaters” organic semi-soft cheese made from non-pasteurized cow’s milk with interior mould. Fromagerie du Presbytère, Centre-du-Québec.
